Varrato v. Unilife Corporation

Plaintiff Varrato initiated this action against Defendants alleging claims for breach of contract and defamation.  One group of Defendants moved to dismiss the defamation claims raised against them on the basis of a release from liability signed by Plaintiff and because they asserted that the alleged statements are not capable of a defamatory meaning.

On April 20, 2011, the Court granted in part and denied in part Defendants’ motion to dismiss.
